How do these changes affect your money counter?
The good news is if you have a Cashmaster money counter the new bills have no affect on the accuracy of your counts as they are so similar in weight to the old $5’s. If you purchased one of our scale based counters no upgrades are required.
If you have an older “friction” bill counter now may be the time to upgrade! Most of the older friction counter manufacturers will require you to send in your unit to update it in order for it to recognize the new $5’s if it is even a unit that can be updated. Before you send in that old unit for a potential costly update give us a call! We have been known to offer generous trade in discounts for anything resembling a money counter!
